My ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Andy Murray

Over the past couple of weeks, ice buckets have featured regularly on people’s news feeds. All for the great cause that is the ALS Association (and the UK equivalent, Motor Neurone Disease Association). Charity awareness and fund raising nirvana achieved.

I started noticing it earlier in the summer. Andy Murray doing the challenge (with lots of ice and lots of water) on the tennis court. He’s always been ahead of the curve: I remember him being one of the first group of people I followed on Twitter back in 2008. He was one of the first sporting professionals who took to social media like a duck to water.

So an ice-cold tidal wave has been gathering momentum, and it finally reached me properly. Here’s my late night icey challenge.
